Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a dead goat which its owner had thrown away (considering it worthless), and he said: "By Him in Whose hand is my soul! This dead animal is as insignificant to its owner as the world is even more insignificant and worthless to Allah Almighty."
