Hereafter’s treasures in exchange for worldly poverty
Hadith 2207
- " لو تعلمون ما ذخر لكم ما حزنتم على ما زوي عنكم وليفتحن لكم فارس والروم ".
Sayyiduna Irbad bin Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to come to us and we would be wearing clothes of little value. Upon seeing this, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: "If you knew what treasures have been stored up for you, you would not be saddened by your poverty and destitution. Soon you will also conquer Persia and Rome."
