Prophet’s humility and prayer for poverty
Hadith 2206
- " اللهم أحيني مسكينا، وأمتني مسكينا، واحشرني في زمرة المساكين ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Allah! Grant me the life of a poor person, the death of a poor person, and raise me among the group of the poor on the Day of Resurrection."
