Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the conquered lands of my Ummah were presented before me, I became very happy. Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: «وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنَ الْأُولَى ٭ وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَى» 'And surely the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life). And soon your Lord will give you (so much) that you will be pleased.' (93:4-5, Ad-Duha) Allah the Exalted has given you (O Prophet) a thousand palaces of pearls in Paradise, whose soil is musk, and in each palace is that which befits it."
