Islamic etiquette at farewell
Hadith 2125
- عن عبد الله الخطمي قال: كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا أراد أن يستودع الجيش، قال: " أستودع الله دينك وأمانتك وخواتيم عملك ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah Khatbi (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to bid farewell to an army, he would say: "I entrust your religion, your trust, and your last deeds to Allah."
