Encouragement to travel at night
Hadith 2100
- " إذا أخصبت الأرض فانزلوا عن ظهركم وأعطوا حقه من الكلأ وإذا أجدبت الأرض فامضوا عليها وعليكم بالدلجة، فإن الأرض تطوى بالليل ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you come upon green and lush land, dismount and let your mount graze, and when you come upon drought-stricken land, then ride, and travel at night, for the distance of the land becomes shorter at night."
