Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Abu Bakr bin Musa says that I was with Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar, when a caravan of Umm al-Banin passed by, and the sound of bells was coming from it. Salim narrated from his father, Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The angels do not accompany a caravan in which there are ghungroos (anklets with bells) and small bells." There were many ghungroos in those people's caravan.
