The Prophet’s white hair, beauty, and seal of Prophethood
Hadith 2012
- (كانَ في [مَفْرِقِ] رَأْسِهِ شَعَرَاتٌ إذا دَهَنَ رأسَهُ لم تَتَبيَّنْ، وإذا لم يَدهنْهُ تَبيَّنَ) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he mentioned the white hairs of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: There were a few (white) hairs in the parting of the blessed head of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When he applied oil, they were not apparent, and when he did not apply oil, they became visible.
