Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wore a silver ring, then said: "This (ring) has today distracted me from paying attention to you people—once I look at it, then once I look at you." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) threw it away.
