Wearing a cloak dyed with wars and saffron
Hadith 1987
- " كان له ملحفة مصبوغة بالورس والزعفران يدور بها على نسائه، فإذا كانت ليلة هذه رشتها بالماء وإذا كانت ليلة هذه رشتها بالماء، وإذا كانت ليلة هذه رشتها بالماء ".
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a cloak that was dyed with wars and saffron plants. He would wear it and go to his wives. When it was the turn of one wife at night, she would sprinkle water on it, and when it was the turn of another, she would sprinkle water on it, and when it was the turn of yet another, she too would sprinkle water on it.
