Why is wedding feast the worst food?
Hadith 1901
- " أديموا الحج والعمرة فإنهما ينفيان الفقر والذنوب كما ينفي الكير خبث الحديد ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The worst food is the food of a wedding feast (walimah), from which the (poor) person who wishes to eat is prevented, and the (rich) person who refuses to eat is invited. (But) whoever does not accept the invitation has disobeyed Allah the Exalted and His Messenger."
