Rights of slaves and servants
Hadith 1853
- " إذا جاء خادم أحدكم بطعامه فليقعده معه أو ليناوله منه، فإنه هو الذي ولي حره ودخانه ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When a servant brings food for someone, he should make him sit with him, or else give him something (to eat), because it is the servant who has endured its heat and smoke.
