Rights of slaves and servants
Hadith 1852
- " إذا جاء خادم أحدكم بطعامه فليجلسه معه، فإن لم يجلسه معه فليناوله أكلة أو أكلتين، فإنه ولي علاجه وحره ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a servant brings food for anyone among you, he should make him sit with him (to eat); if he does not wish to make him sit with him, then he should give him one or two morsels, for he prepared the food and endured its heat."
