Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a man asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "Which believer is the best?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: "The one who has the best character." He then asked: "Which believer is intelligent and wise?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The one who remembers death the most and prepares for it in the best manner, he is the wise one."
