Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever takes in an orphan child, whether his own or someone else’s, and makes him self-sufficient, Paradise becomes obligatory for him.”
