Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Marriage is my Sunnah, and whoever does not act upon my Sunnah is not from me. You people should get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the previous nations. Whoever has the means should get married, and whoever does not have the means should fast, for fasting diminishes desire."
