Desire for fame leads to ruin
Hadith 148
- " من سمع الناس بعمله سمع الله به مسامع خلقه يوم القيامة وحقره وصغره ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever seeks fame among people through his deeds, Allah Almighty will make His creation hear about him on the Day of Resurrection and will humiliate and disgrace him."
