Wife spending without husband’s permission
Hadith 1462
- " إذا أنفقت المرأة من طعام بيتها غير مفسدة كان لها أجرها بما أنفقت ولزوجها أجره بما كسب وللخازن مثل ذلك لا ينقص بعضهم أجر بعض شيئا ".
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a woman spends from the food (or provisions) of her house, provided she is not wasteful, she receives the reward for spending, the husband receives the reward for earning, and the treasurer (caretaker) also receives a similar reward. None of them diminishes the reward of the other in any way."
