الايمان والنذور والكفاراتBook of Faith, Vows, and Expiations
Swearing by other than Allah is prohibited
Hadith 1412
- " كل يمين يحلف بها دون الله شرك ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Swearing an oath by anyone other than Allah is shirk (associating partners with Allah)."
