Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Hasan says: Ma'qil bin Yasar Muzani was suffering from a fatal illness. Ubaydullah bin Zayd came to take care of him. Sayyiduna Ma'qil (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I will narrate to you a hadith which I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). If I knew that I would live, I would not narrate it to you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If Allah entrusts a person with the responsibility of some subjects and he dies while deceiving them, Allah will make Paradise forbidden for him."
