Hadith 1385

- " لا طاعة لأحد في معصية الله تبارك وتعالى ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Ziyad wanted to appoint Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) as the governor of Khurasan, but he refused. His companions said to him: "Do you not accept the responsibility of Khurasan?" He replied: "By Allah! I do not find it good that I should continue to burn in the fire of battles while you people arrive peacefully after victory. In fact, I fear that I will be facing the enemy and a letter from Ziyad will reach me. After that, if I advance, I will be destroyed, and if I return, my neck will be cut." After him, Ziyad intended to send Sayyiduna Hakam bin Amr Ghafari (may Allah be pleased with him), and he accepted the order. Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Will someone call Hakam to me?" In response, a messenger went and set out towards him and reached him. Sayyiduna Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said to Sayyiduna Hakam (may Allah be pleased with him): "Did you hear the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that there is no obedience to anyone in disobedience to Allah, the Blessed and Exalted?" He said: "Yes." Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said «الحمد للہ» or «اللہ اکبر».
