Accepting gifts due to intercession is prohibited
Hadith 1313
ـ (من شَفَعَ لأَخِيه بشفَاعةٍ، فأهْدى له هديّةً عليها؛ فقَبِلها؛ فقدْ أتَى باباً عظِيماً منْ أبوابِ الرِّبا) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever intercedes for his brother and he gives a gift for it which he accepts, then he has crossed a great door of usury."
