Fencing a well
Hadith 1269
- " حريم البئر أربعون ذراعا من حواليها كلها لأعطان الإبل والغنم ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The enclosure of a well is forty cubits around it; this entire area is for camels and sheep to sit."
