Is it permissible to eat fruit from someone’s garden without permission?
Hadith 1228
- (مَنْ مَرَّ بحائطٍ فلْيأكُلْ ولا يحْمِلْ) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If someone passes by a garden, he may eat from it (its fruit, etc.), but he should not take anything away with him."
