When does right of preemption lapse?
Hadith 1226

- " إذا قسمت الأرض وحدت، فلا شفعة فيها ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the boundaries of the land have been demarcated, then there is no right of pre-emption (shuf‘ah)."
