Legal punishment for slaves and slave girls for adultery
Hadith 1205
- " إذا زنت الأمة فاجلدوها، فإن زنت فاجلدوها، فإن زنت فاجلدوها، فإن زنت فاجلدوها، ثم بيعوها ولو بضفير ".
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a slave-girl commits adultery, flog her; if she commits adultery again, flog her; if she commits adultery again, flog her; and if she commits adultery again, flog her and sell her, even if you have to sell her for a twisted rope."
