Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Ja'far bin Muhammad narrates from his father, who narrates from his grandfather, Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade picking dates and harvesting crops at night. Ja'far bin Muhammad says: I think that he forbade this because of the poor.
