Withholding excess water is prohibited
Hadith 1177
- " نهى أن يمنع نقع البئر. يعني: فضل الماء ".
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbidding the withholding of surplus water from a well.
