Why is farming considered humiliating?
Hadith 1122
- عن أبي أمامة الباهلي قال - ورأى سكة وشيئا من آلة الحرث فقال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " لا يدخل هذا بيت قوم إلا أدخله الله الذل ".
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) saw the blade of a plough and some other farming tools and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whenever these (tools) enter the house of any people, Allah imposes humiliation upon them."
