Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: My maternal aunt was given three divorces. She was going to the orchard to pick her dates. She met a man who stopped her from doing so because of her waiting period (‘iddah). She went to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned her situation before him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You may go and pick your dates. Perhaps you may give some of it in charity or do some other good deed with it."
