- " وأنا أشهد، وأشهد: أن لا يشهد بها أحد إلا برئ من الشرك. يعني الشهادتين ".
Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam narrates from his father, who says: We were walking with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he heard a man in a valley saying: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And I also bear witness, and furthermore, I bear witness that whoever gives such testimony will be free from shirk (associating partners with Allah)." By this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) meant the two testimonies (of the Oneness of Allah and the Messengership). Explanation & Benefits

Benefits:
Shirk (associating partners with Allah) is the greatest sin that deprives one of Paradise and causes one to enter Hell forever. However, the person who recites this kalimah (testification of faith) with sincerity and conviction of heart becomes free from shirk:
It should be kept in mind that if a person, despite reciting this kalimah, does not refrain from acts of shirk, it means that he has not recited this kalimah with sincerity of heart, but rather has recited it superficially and is not fulfilling its requirements. In such a situation, reciting this kalimah does not benefit the person.
A "Hajj Mabroor" (accepted pilgrimage) refers to that Hajj in which no act of disobedience is committed.
