Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Ismail bin Abdullah that Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Walid bin Malik. Walid asked him: What did you hear from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the mention of the Day of Judgment? In response, he stated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am not from the world, nor is the world from me (that is, I have no connection with the world). I and the Day of Judgment have been sent like this, that we are striving to outpace each other."
