Price of dogs, alcohol, and earnings of prostitutes are forbidden; meaning of dice and chess
Hadith 1075
- " إذا جاءك يطلب ثمن الكلب فاملأ كفيه ترابا ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the price of wine, the earnings of a prostitute, and the price of a dog, and said: "When someone comes to you with the price of a dog, fill his hands with dust."
