Riba al-Fadl
Hadith 1074
- (لا صاعَيْ تمرٍ بصاعٍ، ولا صاعَيْ حنطةٍ بصاعٍ، ولا درْهَمَ بدرهمَينِ) .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) says: In the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to get mixed dates, and we would sell two sa' for one sa'. When this reached the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "You cannot sell two sa' of dates for one sa', nor two sa' of wheat for one sa', nor two dirhams for one dirham."
