Are death and lack of wealth desirable?
Hadith 1049
- " اثنتان يكرههما ابن آدم: يكره الموت والموت خير للمؤمن من الفتنة ويكره قلة المال وقلة المال أقل للحساب ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mahmud bin Labid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The son of Adam dislikes two things: (1) He dislikes death, although death is better for the believer than tribulation; and (2) he dislikes having little wealth, although having little wealth makes the reckoning on the Day of Resurrection lighter."
