Hadith 386
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The last sight with which I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was on a Monday. He (peace be upon him) lifted the curtain and I saw his radiant face, as if it was a page of the Noble Qur’an. The people were performing prayer behind Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and it was as if the people were about to move from their places, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured to them to remain in their places, and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was leading them in prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) let the curtain fall, and then he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away at the end of that day.
