The Prophet lived sixty-three years
Hadith 380
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَخْطُبُ قَالَ: «مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ» وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ، وَأَنَا ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ
Jarir says that I heard Sayyiduna Amir Muawiyah bin Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with them both) delivering a sermon, saying that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq, and Sayyiduna Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with them) all passed away at the age of sixty-three, and I too have reached the age of sixty-three.
