The Prophet did not hoard wealth
Hadith 353
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَدَّخِرُ شَيْئًا لِغَدٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said: The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would not store anything for the coming day.
