The Prophet accepted even small gifts
Hadith 336
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لوْ أُهْدِيَ إِلَيَّ كُرَاعٌ لَقَبِلتُ، وَلوْ دُعِيتُ عَلَيْهِ لَأَجَبْتُ»
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I am given even a sheep's foot as a gift or present, I will accept it, and if I am invited to it, I will surely attend."
