A narration of nine rak‘ahs at night
Hadith 272
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ تِسْعَ رَكَعَاتٍ»
Mother of the Believers, Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer nine (9) units of prayer at night.
