Hadith 239
It is narrated from Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, that he said: An old woman came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray for me that I may enter Paradise. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O mother of so-and-so! No old woman will enter Paradise." Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, says that the old woman went back weeping, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Inform her that no woman will enter in a state of old age (rather, she will enter as a young maiden), as Allah the Exalted has said: «إنا أنشأناهن إنشاء فجعلناهن أبكارا عربا أترابا», that We have created them in a special manner, that they will be virgins, beloved, and of equal age."
