The Prophet always smiled when he saw me
Hadith 230
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، عَنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ: «مَا حَجَبَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا رَآنِي مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُ إِلَّا تَبَسَّمَ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that since I became Muslim, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never prevented me from coming to him, and whenever he saw me, he would smile.
