باب ما جاء فى صفة شرب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلمChapter: What has been reported concerning the manner of drinking of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
The Prophet drank Zamzam standing
Hadith 205
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ، وَمُغِيرَةُ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَرِبَ مِنْ زَمْزَمَ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank Zamzam water while standing.
