Hadith 163
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا «قَرَّبَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَنْبًا مَشْوِيًّا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَمَا تَوَضَّأَ»
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that she presented roasted meat of the side (foreleg) to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He ate from it, then stood up for prayer and did not perform ablution.
