Nothing remained on the Prophet’s dining mat
Hadith 143
حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ يَقُولُ : «مَا كَانَ يَفْضُلُ عَنِ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خُبْزُ الشَّعِيرِ»
Salim bin Amir (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that I heard Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) say: There was never even a single barley bread left over in the household of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
