Hadith 125
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ صَبِيحٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْثِرُ الْقِنَاعَ كَأَنَّ ثَوْبَهُ ثَوْبُ زَيَّاتٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to frequently place a cloth on his blessed head after applying oil, as if his cloth was the cloth of an oil-extractor.
