Hadith 121
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) held my or his own calf muscle and said: "This is the place for the izar (lower garment) and the waist-wrapper. If you are negligent in following this advice, then let it go a little lower. If you do not even accept this, then know that there is no part of the waist-wrapper for the ankles, that is, covering the ankles with the waist-wrapper is neither correct nor permissible."
