Width and length of the Prophet’s turban
Hadith 117
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سُلَيْمَانَ وَهُوَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْغَسِيلِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِصَابَةٌ دَسْمَاءُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon to the people while he had a black turban on his blessed head.
