باب ما جاء فى عمامة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلمChapter: What has been reported concerning the turban of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
Black turban is Sunnah
Hadith 113
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: «دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَكَّةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah on the day of the conquest of Makkah, there was a black turban on his blessed head.
Hadith 114
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُسَاوِرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Huraith, may Allah be pleased with him, that I saw that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had a black turban on his blessed head.
