Hadith 106
Hud ibn Abdullah ibn Sa'id narrates from his grandfather that when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) entered Makkah on the day of the conquest of Makkah, there was gold and silver on his sword. Talib (Hud's student, Talib ibn Hujair) said: So I asked him about the silver, and he said: The hilt of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) sword was made of silver.
